Synopsis

The Phil Mitchell Radio Hour is a one-man show about an evangelical radio host broadcasting as the rapture unfolds. The work examines the tension between organized religion and faith through a live, media-driven theatrical frame.

After debuting in Columbus, Ohio, the show has mounted performances in Georgia, North Carolina, and New York City. It was named a 2025 ArtsATL Critic’s Pick during the Atlanta Fringe Festival and played a sold-out run at the 2026 Asheville Fringe Festival. Its Jacksonville run marks the show’s Florida debut and its first site-specific performance inside the historic San Marco Church.
