Synopsis

Sibling rivalry, adultery and dungeons collide in The Lion in Winter, James Goldman’s modern classic about the Plantagenet family.

Set during Christmas 1183, the play finds King Henry II, Eleanor of Aquitaine and their sons locked in a free-for-all over the future of a kingdom. Theatre Jacksonville presents the production as The Classic in San Marco for Season 107.
