Jason Collins

Originally from Sarasota, Florida, Jason Collins earned his B.A. in Theatre and Dramatic Arts from Ferrum College in Virginia. He launched his career in the theatre with The Jack Tale Players, a children’s troupe based at Ferrum. Jason has showcased his talents with reputable regional companies such as Minneapolis’ Troupe America, Auburn, New York’s Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, and Waterbury, Connecticut’s Shakesperience Theatre Company. Currently, he teaches middle school theatre in Jacksonville and directs local productions. His most recent on-stage role was Fist in Four Weddings and an Elvis. Among his standout performances are roles in A Lonesome West, Moon Over Buffalo, Twelfth Night, Macbeth, King Lear, Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Hatfields & McCoys.
