Eugene Lindsey

Eugene Lindsey is an accomplished actor with notable performances across stage, TV, and film. His previous roles at Theatre Jacksonville include Thurgood Marshall in a live-streamed production of Thurgood. His favorite stage roles feature a range of dynamic characters, such as Troy Mason in Fences, Nomax in Five Guys Named Moe, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in The Mountaintop, Simon in The Whipping Man, and Mister in The Color Purple. On screen, he was awarded best actor at the San Diego Black Film Festival for his portrayal of Henry in Ocean Pond and appeared as Dr. Mitchell on Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.
