Denise Fernandez

Denise has performed in community and professional theatre productions in NY/NJ before moving to FL in 2013. Some cherished roles have included Anita, West Side Story (ACT Award); Sr. Hubert, Nunsense (RECT Nominee); Fastrada, Pippin; Lola, Damn Yankees; LaFleur, Nine. Most recently she has added to her list Kate, Brighton Beach Memoirs and Ouiser, Steel Magnolias. When not on stage she works as an Executive Assistant in the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind and attends Flagler College in hopes of attaining her BA in English. She lives with her husband of 31 years (and counting), 97 year old father, and one rescue canine and feline. Her proudest achievement is being mother to her 23-year old daughter.
