Alexandra Reed Lajoux

Alexandra Reed Lajoux, mezzo-soprano, had the role of a lifetime when she played Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music at Amelia Musical Playhouse in August 2021, directed by Jill Dillingham. Her most recent roles there were Snug the Joiner/Lion in Midsummer Night’s Dream (July 2025, directed by Joey Johnson), and Haley Harty in Scrooge the Musical, directed by Jimmy Galaviz.
